       "The Story"

So I think "The Story" is something I struggle with most.
Sometimes it pretty obvious, especially in situations that are
       truly unique like this:
  HTML https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-CFeqWdwPC2w/T2ZgwXlhnQI/AAAAAAAAC8I/kxVhayDUqBM/w940-h1338-no/6848287288_b60ab55006_b.jpg
or if you are shooting animals are people and you can capture a
raw emotion or them doing something at the perfect moment. So
my question is... when faced with simpler landscapes that don't
have something magnificent (mountains, an awesome reflection,
etc.) but have good light, a great subject, etc. are there any
tips you might have to help provoke a "story" from them. I feel
like I can nail a composition, do everything right technically
but it just ends up being a very good capture of the moment and
doesn't have any soul to it. (I know.. another open ended
       question... lol)

How to tell a story is the topic of Week Four - so I'll table
this question for now and we can answer it in detail then, if
       that's okay. ;D

As I share Mr. Freidland's frustration very much, I look forward
to the forth coming lesson. In May cases I do not know what I am
trying to tell other than I felt the scenery was pretty or
       unusual.

Telling a story with the landscape is often difficult. I will
give you guys a hint as to what my secret ingredient is:
       moisture . . .
I'll tell you more in Week Four! ;D

moisture? as in "sweating it out" as to whether you are on the
       story or not? ;)
