Detective story about an individual (one of a small few) that
can see into the final moments of an individual's life.
Effectively they can go in and walk around, see, interact, and
exist in the LAST BREATH of a person.

Shadow Noir
A detective can communicate with shadows to solve crimes. The
shadows reveal secrets they’ve seen, but they also have their
own dark agendas.
In the heart of a city that never sleeps, Detective Ray
Castellanos has a unique ability - he can communicate with
shadows. These aren’t ordinary shadows; they’re sentient
entities, silent witnesses to the countless stories unfolding in
the city’s underbelly.
Ray, a seasoned detective with the city’s Major Crimes Unit,
uses this ability to solve the most baffling of cases. The
shadows reveal secrets they’ve seen, providing Ray with clues
that no one else can see. A lipstick stain on a murderer’s
collar, the nervous twitch of a con artist, the silent tears of
a missing child - nothing escapes their notice. However, the
shadows aren’t just passive observers. They have their own dark
agendas, their own desires and fears. Some shadows are loyal
allies, while others are deceitful tricksters. Ray must navigate
this shadowy world, discerning truth from lies. Overarching all
this is the mystery of Ray’s own past and the origin of his
strange ability. As Ray delves deeper into the world of shadows,
he uncovers a conspiracy that threatens to engulf the city in
darkness.
Entities with Dark Agendas: These shadows are the ones who have
been corrupted by the darker aspects of human nature. Their goal
is to sow discord and chaos, manipulating events to their
advantage. They feed off negative emotions like fear, anger, and
despair. Some of them might be seeking to break free from their
existence as shadows, aiming to gain a physical form in the real
world.
Allied Shadows: The allies are the shadows who have chosen to
stand by Ray, often those connected to people Ray has helped in
the past. Their goal is to maintain balance, helping Ray solve
crimes and keep the city safe. They value justice and truth,
often going out of their way to provide Ray with the information
he needs.
A beat cop patrolling. Known for his uncanny ability to read

However, his life took a dark turn when his partner was brutally
murdered in an unsolved case that left Ray with a deep sense of
guilt and a thirst for justice. He survived, but found himself
changed. He could now perceive and interact with shadows,
entities that were previously invisible to him. These shadows,
he discovered, were imprints left by individuals, echoes of

his new abilities, Ray left the police force and became a
private detective. He now navigates the shadowy underbelly of
the city, using his unique gift to solve crimes that others
