Platoon of the Damned
Ghost of the Battlefield: The platoon is haunted by the ghost of
a fallen comrade who reveals secrets about the enemy’s plans.
They must decipher these cryptic messages while dealing with the
emotional impact of their friend’s death.
The Damned’s Redemption: A high-ranking enemy officer, cursed
and transformed into a ghoul, defects to the Allies. The platoon
must protect him from both sides as he holds vital information
that could end the war.
The Haunted Trenches: German spy squad is moving through Allied
trenches. They are en route to stealing vital plans for an
impending offensive from Allied forces. Along the way they don't
pay attention to the dead soldiers in the trenches. They walk
right into the Platoon of the Damned and meet their grisly fate.
The Phantom Sniper: A ghostly sniper is causing havoc among the
platoon’s ranks. They must uncover the sniper’s identity and
find a way to stop him.

[INTRO COMIC]
[This is all set in WWII so all uniforms, insignia, vehicles,
weapons etc are from that era. Variations or original designs
that would fit the era are welcome]
PAGE 1
Panel 1: Snow draped field outside of the small city of Klin.
There's some forestry but the city is visible.
- Caption: Outskirts of Klin, Russia, December 1941
Panel 2: Over shoulder view from Axis soldier walking in the
field. They are approaching standing figures that appear to be
frozen Russian Soldiers (zombies ... they're zombies).
Panel3: The Axis soldier is poking the frozen figure in the face
with the barrel of his rifle. The soldier yells out to the rest
of the troops that it's a trick. The wind is howling and
swirling snow.
- Soldier: Es ist ein Trick. Gefrorene Soldaten, ha!
- SFX: WOOO-OOOSH

Panel 1: Overhead of a platoon of Axis soldiers walking through
the snowy field that is littered with the frozen figures. Th e
snow crunches beneath their boots.
- SFX: crunch - crunch
Panel 2: Close up of an Axis Soldier walking closely by one of
the frozen figures. The face of the frozen Russian Soldier
doesn't look natural. The Axis Soldier notices and has an uneasy
look on his face.
Panel 3: The Axis Soldier is staring at the frozen figure and is
attempting to talk to one of his fellow platoon mates.
- Soldier: Das ist nicht richtig. Welches Tier behandelt seine
Toten wie eine Requisite?
Panel 4: The other Soldier tries to reassure by dismissing the
concern.
- Other Soldier: Drastische Maßnahmen von unterlegenen Kämpfern.
Erbärmlich, egal.
Panel 5: The unnatural face of the frozen Russian soldier is up
close in the foreground. Both Axis soldiers have turned and are
continuing to walk through the field.
- Soldier: Es sieht einfach falsch aus...

Panel 1: Same shot as panel 5 from previous page. Now though,
the eyes of the frozen Russian Soldier are open and full of
"life" so to speak. It is wailing as if offended by the comments
made about it.
- SFX: HHHNNNGH
Panel 2: The two soldiers have turned and are frightened within
an inch of their life. The previously frozen Russian Soldier has
lurched towards them with hate on his unnatural face, mouth open
in both a yell and
- Soldiers: AAGGH - Mein Gott, es lebt
- SFX: HHNNUUUGGGGHH
Panel 3: Zoomed out overhead of the field. All of the frozen
Russian Soldiers are now animated, lurching at the Axis Soldiers
who are spraying machine gun fire everywhere.
- Soldiers: Die Toten sind lebending! Die Verdammten wandeln auf
der Erde!
- SFX: BUDDABUDDABUDDA
- SFX: RUUUAAAAGGGHH

Panel 1: Close up of frozen Russian soldier biting through the
face of an Axis Soldier. The Russian soldier's hands are also
tearing through the flesh of the Axis Soldier.

[The platoon of the damned aren't exactly zombies. They're more
like ghouls]
Page 1
Panel 1:
We're looking at the entrance to a Soviet command bunker in a
trench. It is muddy/soaked from heavy rain. There are a small
handful of Nazi SS soldiers acting as look outs.
Caption: Eastern Front, 1943
Panel 2:
Close in on one of the SS soldiers standing guard. He's clearly
scared out of his mind.
Soldier: Etwas ist nicht richtig. BEEIL DICH ...
Panel 3:
Looking out into the trench from the Soldier's POV. There are
dead Allied Soldiers littering the trench.
Soldier: ... etwas ist night rightig.
Panel 4:
An SS soldier bursts from the entrance of the command bunker.
He's holding out a file folder of papers.
Soldier: Wir haben es. Ihre Bewegungspläne. Ausziehen.
Sei schnell.

Panel 1:
The SS squad is fleeing the bunker down one of the trenches.
Caption: “The damned fight with supernatural
strength.”
SFX: SPLICH SPLICH SPLICH
Panel 2:
Shot of the SS soldier's running boots moving past the dead and
dismembered Soviet Soldiers in the trench.
SFX: SPLICH SPLICH SPLICH
Panel 3:
Same shot, but the SS soldier's have moved past. Now though, the
eyes of the dead/dismembered soldiers are open/alive.
SFX: UUUUUHHNN
Panel 4:
Slightly overhead shot of the fleeing SS soldiers. Looking from
behind them out to the trench in front of them. The SS soldiers
are now running straight into the Platoon of the Damned which
are coming to life/emerging from the trench walls and ground (up
to you how you depict this)
SFX: Mein Gott!!!
Panel 5:
The SS soldiers are falling over themselves trying to switch
directions in the muddy/soaked trench.
Soldier: Geh zurück, verdammt!
SFX: UUUUHHNN

Panel 1:
Overhead shot of the trench where the SS squad is not trapped on
both sides by the platoon of the damned
Soldier: Sie sind überall! was zur Hölle ist das?!
SFX: UUUUHHNN
Panel 2:
The SS soldier with the file folder of plans is being held
against the trench wall by ghoul hands on both his arms and
legs. He's terrified, begging for the approaching ghoul to take
the plans back.
Soldier: nimm sie zurück. Bitte Gott, nimm sie zurück.
Ich gebe auf!
Panel 3:
The ghoul is reaching out towards the SS soldier being held
against the trench. The soldier is increasingly scared and
attempting to bargain for his life.
Soldier: Ja ja, nimm es zurück. Ich gebe auf!
SFX: TAAAAKKEEE

The ghoul's hand reaches past the file folder towards the SS
soldier's face.
Panel 2:
The ghoul's hand is tearing through the SS soldier's face
