PROLOGUE - Beginnings
Prologue is segue between GSC #1 - ? to the Brightstar story
GSC #1 - ?
Ern-La is the prime lord of Phaetos. Despite his own actions
having accelerated the deterioration of the planet Phaetos (the
nurturing/producing of the God Seeds) Ern-La is ideologically
bent on pushing the Phaeton race to be the leading and largest
race in the Universe. Taking the fractelon device that has led
the Phaetons to survival over eons (by terrfracting nearly dead
planets/moons/etc) and engineering super forms of the seeds
they've used in the past, Ern-La is taking aim at several
planets at once (to include fully inhabited and ally race home
planets). The maniacal shift in ideology and action leads to a
small scale civial war. Mal-Vol is the high marshal of the
Phaeton Armament Legions. He vehemently disagrees with Ern-La's
new view and approach. While staving off potential rebellion
Ern-La terrafracts an ally home planet to demonstrate to all of
Phaetos the possibilities and new hope for all. While finishing
the construction of the large scale fractelon (capable of
multiple terrafracts at once) and engineering of the God Seeds
to arm it with, Mal-Vol leads an all or nothing assault on the
assembly plant to try and disrupt the plan. Titanus is his top
general. Upon succeeding, Mal-Vol is warned by Ern-La of what he
risks by not going through with/stopping La's plan. He lays bare
the truth of Phaetos' predicament and leaves Mal-Vol uncertain
of what to do. Ultimately he decides to go through with
unleashing the large scale fractelon.
Issue 1: The story begins on the planet Phaetos, home to the
Phaeton race. The prime lord, Ern-La, is introduced as a
powerful and ambitious leader. He reveals his plan to use the
fractelon device and God Seeds to terraform other planets and
expand the Phaeton race.
