       Fun Competitive Walker Looking For Fun Competitive Team!

       Hello!
       My name is Anthony and I am looking to join a 2013 Portland to
       Coast team. I am a 50 year old athletic male walker who is
       training (walking daily/weekly) for the 2013 Portland Marathon
       on October 6th. This is my second season of Marathon Walking and
       I love it!
       Hopefully, this will be my second year of participating in the
       Portland To Coast Relay.  My 2012 legs and times are as follows:
       Leg 21 – 5.00 miles – Moderate - 1:16:30 – 15:18 pace per mile
       Leg 33 – 7.72 miles – Hard – 1:56:38 – 15:06 pace per mile
       During the 2013 Marathon Season I will be competing in the the
       North Olympic Discovery Half-Marathon held in Port Angeles, WA
       on Sunday, June 2nd.  Last year I finished with an average pace
       of 16:22/mile and a time of 3 hours/33 minutes.  I will also
       compete in the Lacamas Lake Half-Marathon event in Vancouver,
       Washington.  Last season I completed the 2012 Portland Marathon
       (26.2 miles) with a time of 8 hours and 32 minutes.  My goal for
       this season is to beat all my previous times.
       I would really enjoy doing the PTC again.  Since my previous
       team is not sure if they will need walkers outside their
       corporate workplace I am available to loyally partner with
       another team.  I would really like to get established early with
       a more competitive fun team and be assured I have a spot for PTC
       2013.
