26 year old female (8:00ish pace) seeking happy, fun team!

Hey there, I'm Lauren! 26 years old, 8:00ish pace by race
weekend. I just started training for the Portland Marathon. I'm
new to HTC but I ran the Reach the Beach Ragnar race last year
in New Hampshire and it was amazing. I would love to run more 1
am legs. Actually, if possible, I'd run all the early, early am
runs but I know that's not how it works. I ran cross country and
track all four years of undergrad at a D3 school in PA.
Consistency, iron will, and friendly competition are in my
blood.
Things about me important for a relay teammate:
1) I pack light.
2) I come bearing lots of good macros baked goods.
3) I don't smell abnormally.
4) Easy going, fun to be around.
5) I sleep pretty easily anywhere
6) Did I mention I'll show up with baked goods? I did? Okay,
great!
7) I'm a morning person without caffiene (we exist strange as it
may seem...)
On a serious note: If chosen to run on a team this year, I'm
dedicating my run to a ultramarathon/adventure racer co-worker
who passed away last year at way too young of an age. He always
had the "Let's do it!" attitude and amazing positivity about
life in general. I've been working hard on embracing that
lifestyle and joining more challenging events, hence this race
and the marathon. RIP Chad Denning

and haven't joined a team yet! We're all 20s/30s, mixed gender,
not super competitive, and down one runner. We're just out to
