Outstate Charitable Team Looking for Three Members

Hello!
I’m team captain for one of H2C’s most successful charitable
teams. KNOCK IT! has a mission to raise $12,000 to help fund the
fight against cancer through Providence Cancer Center in
Portland (we're already about $5k of the way there). As a
charitable team, registration will only cost you $20. But, we do
fund-raise. It’s not that hard, just let people know you’re
doing it and offer them an opportunity to contribute.
We’re in it for fun and the charitable mission - not necessarily
to get a great finish time. We have team members from a creative
agency called KNOCK and a company called Medtronic - both based
in Minneapolis.
We just lost a few members (3) from the team and need to have
them replaced ASAP. Our ages are all over the place - from the
20s to the 50s - paces are also all over the place, from 7:30 to
10:30.

Still looking for runners? I am a male, 44, sub 8 pace and have
run H2C 5 or 6 times. I also live locally in the Portland area.

My friend and I are both looking for a team and we would LOVE to
join. We are both 19 year old women and run about 7:30/8:30
min/mi. I am a 4 year veteran of this event although it would be
my friend's first year. I am local to the near Portland area and
have experience with this event.

Thank you for your message and your interest! We got ourselves
up to 12 runner, but lost one today. I can guarantee a spot for
one of you, but only alternate right now for the other one. It
is very possible we'll lose someone else between now and the
race, but I cannot guarantee it. If you're still interested,

I'm interested in running on your team. I'm hoping to run in my
first Hood to Coast this year. I ran in the Portland Marathon
last year and qualified for next year's Boston Marathon. I run
around town a lot and enjoy running. I would really like to be
on a fun team such as yours. I think I can raise funds through
my church. Please let me know if a spot is still available.

I WISH I COULD PUT YOU ALL ON MY TEAM! Right now, we're filled
to the brim with 12 runners. Should anyone have to drop out, I
will post again, but for now, we don't have any opening.
You're all great and I hope you all get to run! Don't give up,
people have unforeseen circumstances and injuries that push them
off teams all the time. If that happens to a team, they'll want
you as much as you want them.

Hi my name is Rusia and two friends and I are looking for a
team. We live in the Salem -Portland area and we're 25 to 40 yrs
of age. Have done the PTC twice and ready for HTC this time.
