Team needs runners

A Portland, Oregon team needs runners. We are a fun team with a
wide mixture of running speeds. We've been running H2C for
almost 20 years, but some of our runners have had last minute
conflicts for August. Would prefer runners from the area, but
would welcome anyone.

Me and a friend (both 50-year old males) may be interested.
It's all about the journey, not when you finish. Both of us are
9-10 minute pace. We both ran our first ultra (50 mile) last
December, and have each completed several marathons &
half-marathons. The HTC run has piqued our interest and sounds
like a great experience. My parents grew up in Beaverton & Coos
Bay, and were newlyweds in Seaside, so I have a personal
connection to this experience. So...if the stars aligned we
would like the opportunity to run...see an amazingly beautiful
part of the country...and learn what the relay experience is all

I am looking to join a H2C team. 40 year old male who has never
done a relay. Avid runner in that I run 3-4 times a week year
round (have done 3 half marathons as well as many other races).
Pace can be as fast as the 6:50's (don't do those very often),
but can also slow myself down. I fairly consistently run in the
7:30's, but try to slow myself down if running longer distances.

Hi, would love to join your team. Portland native. Female, 56,
9-12 min mile. Currently training for full and to bring up my
speed. I run a 1/2 and a couple smaller each month. This is num
1 on my bucket list.
