38 yo looking for an HTC team to join 2022

Hello! I just moved to Portland from Chicago in August and am
looking for a team to join for HTC 2022. I have run many races
in the past, but am new to HTC and the relay format. This sounds
like such an exciting event to meet new people and challenge
myself. I really hope someone will adopt me and show me the
ropes. I promise to try my best and be a supportive team member.
A little bit about my running - I've run races between 5k and
half marathons in Chicago (and part of the 2007 Chicago Marathon
that was cancelled mid-race). My pace was anywhere between
7:35/mile to 9:30/mile depending on distance and level of
training prior to a hiatus to have kids. My kids are past the
baby phase and I'm ready to run again! I'm currently ramping up
and getting acclimated to running in Portland. I hope to return
to my previous pace. I'm older but also wiser so I think it can
even out :)

Sunset Streakers HTC Team Invite
Most know HTC is an epic event.
So as not to write too much, I will let you know our team does
not care about running times, we care about people. We want our
runners to care about other runners, even runners on other
teams.
One question I have for all new runners is, “What is HTC really
all about?” See Link for the answer.
You can read about our team from messages I have sent to HTC in
the past. Those messages are lengthy. You will see I am very
passionate about HTC. You can also see pictures from years
past.
