36 year old male looking to join a team

Hi all! I'm a 36 yr old runner looking to join a mixed or men's
team for the race. I'm a decent runner, typically clock in ~10
minute mile pace. Looking to join a non-competitive/fun team.

We are looking a runner for van 2, runner 10. We are a mixed
team about 50/50 male/female, non-competitive, just out to have
a great time. We have transport back to Portland Saturday night.
Van 2 receives a delicious spaghetti dinner, warm bed and shower
after leg one, which is a great perk! We can be flexible on
price due to last minute need if it's a good fit!

Banana Striders, we hand out bananas to runners during the race.
The runners really like them.
One van comes back Saturday night. We have an open slot in van
2. We have large vans so you have plenty of leg room.
I have run with this team for 16 years. They are fun, easy going
and very supportive.

We would be happy to have you join our team. We are mostly a
group of folks who did it four years ago and are looking forward
to doing it again for the fun of it! We are a casual group who
have all had a lot more children and a lot less time since the
last time we ran so it’s definitely more about the good times
then the race time. We are from Texas, Oklahoma and California
and we’ve got flexibility if there is a particular leg you’d

Did you find a team yet?
If not, would you like to join the Alpenrose Dairy team? We've
had a few last-minute cancellations and have a couple of open
slots. We are a mixed-gender, non-competitive team. Alpenrose
paid the registration fee (thanks Alpenrose!) so the only costs
are splitting the van rental, gas, and food. Both tortoises and
hares are welcome!
