Unfortunately life got in the way for one of our runners and our
team of 12 is down to 11. Her loss could be your gain.
We are Team 369 Adult-Ish. We couldn't have been more excited by
the random pull on team number this year. We promise not to play
the song too many times - maybe. If you don't get the reference
we may not be the team for you.
       We're a co-ed team. Van 1 has all the guys, Van 2 we've filled
with all the ladies. We're looking for a female to be our runner
       7. The teammate that had to drop was an 8 minute mile, but we
range from sub 9-11 minute miles. So we really aren't picky
about pace - more interested in your ability to finish your legs
and have a great time doing it.
We have a couple early 30's, one mid 30, and a 40 and 50 on the
team - so whatever your age we're not picky there either. We can
       be a little loud, a little/lot inappropriate, but we're a good
group and have run this together before. We're all happy to
pitch in where we can and help each other out along the way. I
tend to do most the driving because the giant Chevy Express is
what I learned to drive on in my youth, so i'm real comfortable
with her. But I cant drive while I run, so others hop on as well
:) We have a house available to us to shower in after the first
legs, and a fold down king size bed in the van - so sleeping 6
comfortably along the course has never been an issue.
We have a 10am start time, so Van 2 will need to be in Sandy
around 1/2. We plan on doing a team BBQ Thursday so everyone can
meet each other and decorate/pack the vans. If you're feeling
the group and don't want to drive back and forth you're welcome
to spend the night with the team at my place Thursday night.
Then we're rolling from Friday on into Saturday at the beach.
We have accomodations at the Worldmark for Saturday night right
on top of the finish line You can literally hobble on up the
wheelchair accesible ramp right into the building. We can see
the beach party from both condos - it's a pretty nice set up. We
own our race vehicles so there are no rental fees. We told our
dropped runner we'd try to recoup some of her race fee - but she
understands this last minute it may not happen. So cost to you
would just be lodging ($102) team gear ($25) and food/gas along
the way (usually $20/40). If you wanted to pitch for the race
fee of $166 great, but if it's a deciding factor it's not
       required.
If you think you're our girl, let us know. Feel free to post
       here or text/email at 406-396-6186/kelsey.swift87@gmail.com
