Female, age 38, 9:45 pace looking for team

Hi! I have run Hood to Coast for each of the past nine years,
but my team didn't get in this year, so I'd like to join a team
in need of a replacement. I'm local to the Portland area. I
would prefer a team with an expected finish time of morning to
early afternoon Saturday so I can return to Portland for an
event in the evening (I'll find a ride if your vans are staying
at the coast).

Hi Ash:
We may be looking for a 12th -- waiting to hear shortly from one
of our runners who is assessing an injury, and should know more
in the next 24 hours. If we do have an open spot it would be in
Van 1, which has 3 women and 3 men at the moment (one of whom is
the potential drop out), plus a driver (van is for 12
passengers). Our van averages mid 40s in age, and we all run 9
-10 minute miles (Van 2 has similar times, but is all guys). We
have a 6:30am Friday start time which means we should finish no
later than early afternoon Saturday.... Email me if you are
interested for some more details.

Hey Ash,
We are looking to fill Leg2 on our team. I'm not sure how early
in the afternoon you are looking for, but we're projected to
finish around 4pm. Van 1 would obviously be done earlier, though
it wouldn't be ideal for you to miss out on the team finish - if
an earlier team doesn't chime in let us know!
We do have an EARLY start time so we are staying at the base of
My Hood Thursday night. We'll be meeting in Willsonville and
taking the team van from there 😊

jkamin, I'm going to hold out for a little bit in hopes of
finding an earlier finishing team, but if your team and I are
both still looking a couple days from now, I'll be in touch!

Hi Ash! We are looking for a Leg 7 runner for our Van 2;
thinking our finish time would be early-late afternoon. Know you
were thinking about earlier, but let me know if this is an
option for you. Van 1 is planning on staying until Van 2
finishes, then heading back to Portland, so you could hitch a
ride with Van 1 if needed! Let me know! Fun group; similar ages
and pace as you are looking at :)
