       In need of Adult-Ish Leg 2 runner - preferably female

       Its that time of year again, an injury has sidelined our Runner
       2 and now we're scrambling to find a replacement. In addition to
       reaching out to our running friends we thought we'd post here.
       We have a start time of 615am so we will be staying as a team
       Thursday night near Government Camp. We also have accommodations
       at the Resort at Seaside (directly at the finish line) for
       Saturday night! We are in no hurry coming back Sunday, we
       generally leave the beach early to mid afternoon.
       Our team policy has always been to do our best to find a
       replacement that can cover race/lodging fees for injured runners
       so they aren't stuck nursing an injury, an inability to
       participate in their end of summer relay, and a loss of funds.
       But if we get down to the wire it is what it is. It's $300 for
       race entry, lodging, and gas. Luckily we own a van - so no van
       rental fees!
       Our van is currently all female, 830-10 minute miles between us.
       We aren't competitive by any means, just in it for the ride! And
       the party at the beach, of course!
       We've got one member celebrating her 50th and a couple others
       ringing in their 31st along the course,  so you need to be ready
       to participate in some birthday shenanigans along the way! We've
       got a couple first timers, a couple returners, and myself and my
       van who have managed to wrangle an entry bid and 12 runners for
       6 years straight. Never under the same name twice - we always
       seem to find inspiration for next year's name along the way.
