51 year-old male seeking HTC team

I'm not fast (10 min pace), but I'm happy to grind out miles and
will take whatever leg is needed. I haven't run HTC, but I've
done CLR and a couple of Ragnar events. I'm in it for the fun,
so if you're a competitive team, I'm not your guy. If you need
more than just one, I've got buddies in their 40s and I could
probably persuade one or two of them for the right price.

I haven't found a team yet. I'm also someone happy to drive a
van and/or navigate while others snooze.

Do you actually have a van or vehicle the team can use? this
could be a profitable experience if you do! :) You sound perfect
for my team either way we are non competitive mixed masters
team.

Unfortunately I don't have a suitable vehicle. I don't know what
you may already have lined up, but in my experience a Ford
Excursion or Suburban is a more comfortable and nimble option
than the usual 12-passenger van. In any case, I'm good at being
non-competitive and master's age, so we may have found a good
fit.

Actually we have quality vehicles solidified Im just keeping a
feeler out for one thats closer because ill be needing to get
one of our team vehicles from tacoma as it is. Either way Van
two is solid it is a large six person truck and we actually put
a bed in the back and it has has a nice canopy. I was in it last
year and it was a really nice set up. You'd be in that vehicle
with me and and four other team mates. :) this is my fifth hood
to coast so i know what you mean with your vehicle suggestions.
At any rate we also have a place to stay at the beach. Are you
in a position to pay the 252 dollars needed to cover the
registration fee and the gas/vehicle rental and cleaning/place
to stay at the end fees? If so my boyfriend is also on the team
he's also 51, we are mostly 40 and fifty somethings. We are
kinda wild our team name is sexy strangers and random
shenanigans. If that all checks out, you can handle some mild
inappropriateness and it doesn't make you at all uncomfortable
that our van one is 90 percent lesbian then lets do this!

Only mildly inappropriate? I'll try to adapt. ;) I was voted
"sexiest legs" in high school, so I fit with the team name. As
for a 6-person van being 90 percent lesbian, I would guess that
means someone is still exploring, but it doesn't bother me one
way or another. I'm happy to cover the $252. As for logistics
going forward, it's probably best if we move to something less
