       Hello, prospective Hood-to-Coaster!
       Our H2C team, team ESI, find itself in need of just one runner
       at this "eleventh hour".  If you are enthusiastic about the
       event (and you happen to run, too!), you are the person we are
       looking for.  We're not hard-core (although we may be a little
       competitive amongst ourselves).  As of right now, our team is
       mostly made up of 30- to 40-something men, and one woman.  I've
       no doubt you will receive a warm welcome!  You are badly needed!
