Up to 4 Runners Needed!

Hi there runners!
Our team of fun-loving, casual runners is looking to recruit a
few more to join our team. You could be a single runner or a
group of up to four.
We're a fundraising team - so there is no registration fee for
you (other than a $20 late reg fee). We're raising money to
benefit the Providence Cancer Center, but we know how late in
the game it is for any one to start that so we'd welcome it if
you wanted to, but no obligation to do so.
We'll be coming from all over the country, we're co-ed, and
we're all around our 30s or so.
We won't be racing to win, but to finish (as you can tell by
our team name) - but we won't judge you if you're super fast.

Hi Emily,
I'm curious if you've found takers? I am really interested in
joining a team. I'm a casual runner as well. I've done a number
of races in the past 8 years - many of which were trail runs, so
pace can be anywhere from a bit under 9 to a bit over 10 minute
miles. I'm in Portland but just moved here recently. I also
have a friend in Minneapolis who is thinking about coming out to
join me if we can find a team.
I'm curious where you are with the fundraising goal? I saw
somewhere that if you don't raise the amount, you don't get to
run. Is that right? I'm sure my friend and I would be happy to
help gather some donations, but it would probably be a small
amount in comparison to the $10k you're trying to raise.
