Hi, my name is Wes, I'm 38 y/o, and I live in Seattle and I'm
looking to run HTC in 2016.
I've run HTC the last three years (2013, 2014, 2015). I've run
legs 10 (10, 22, 34), 4 (4, 16, 28), and 11 (11, 23, 35). I run
numerous races throughout the year. My pace is 8/8:30. Oh, and I
love hoppy beers and strong coffee!
Check me out on twitter:

Since I live beyond the 100 miles radius of Portland I do not
have to provide volunteers. Just in case you were worried about
that. :)

You had me at hoppy beers and strong coffee! We are a charity
team coming from Chicagoland that is still in need of 1-2 sub
9:45 runners. This will be our first HTC but the bulk of us have
run numerous relays together including The Smoky Mountain Relay
(North Carolina), The Bourbon Chase Relay (Kentucky), Madison to
Chicago Ragnar, Tennessee Ragnar, Ragnar Trail Appalachia (West
Virginia) to name a few. We are also veterans of OCR's and a
few of us have ran 50k and 50m ultras. We are looking to push
our limits while having a great time without being overly
competitive. We are not in it to win it, but rather in it to
finish. Plus a few of us are self professed coffee and craft
beer geeks.
I am interested in talking to you more if you are interested in
joining us. Again we are a charity team so we do need to raise
the $10,000 as a team. We basically just started fundraising and
our first event (NCAA Football Bowl Mania Squares) raised
$1,000.
Please contact me if you are interested. You can also reach me

Hi Jack!
Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately I can't commit to raising money, because I have so
much going on with work, travel and other races I'm running. :(

I will keep you mind if we end up raising the money and still
need a runner.

Hi Wes! My team of 8 is looking for more runners. We're casual
runners, fun, and coming in from all over the country.
We're a fundraising team - so there is no registration fee for
your (other than a $20 late reg fee). We're raising money, but
we know how late in the game it is for any one to start that so
we'd welcome it if you wanted to, but no obligation to do so.
Mostly we need more people to run and help us finish!
Lemme know!
