       Driving Assignments

       I have a team of 9 and I am having a hard time figuring out how
       to coordinate the vans. Does anyone have a driving layout for 9
       people? The course map is set up for a team of 12 and since I
       have 9 it doesn't match up. People aren't always going to be in
       the same van. I contacted PTC and the only rule that's enforced
       is there can only be 1 van in legs 19-24. This is my first year
       doing it so I'm a newbie and would appreciate any help. Thank

       Saw your post, thought I might assist you.  I’ve been doing the
       walk for 14 years with 8 walkers.  You’re doing the walk with 9
       (odd number but nothing unusual).
       When your team gets to Leg 18 (Columbia County Fairgrounds), Van
       2 with walkers 6, 7, 8, 9, 1 and 2 will proceed with the walk.
       Van 2 with walkers 3, 4 and 5 will drive ahead on the
       alternative route, where they will meet up with Van 1 at the end
       of 23 (The Natel Grange).
       Then when your team arrives at the end of leg 31 (Olney School).
       Van 2 with walkers 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 will proceed with the walk.
       While Van 1 with walkers 7, 8, 9 and 1 drive to Seaside on the
       alternate route and wait at the finish line.
       This may not make much sense, I’m a visual person, Karen of Road
       Kill Grill might be better at explaining this, if not it might
       be easier to talk in person to you, let me know.
