Five Heroic Rancor raid rules, Schedule included.

House Clegane, this set is designed to ensure first that
everyone participates, then that we all have an equal chance to
use all that we have, and lastly that we don't overreach and
fail to complete the raid.
Rule 1. Only one player fights the Gamorrean guards to earn
points. When the guards are Cleared, he escapes ASAP. This
task will rotate among the Guard Clearance Group.
Having just one person (or pair of people) do the job makes
everyone else's scores (because it's all only rancor damage)
more equal in comparison.
Rule 2. Everyone for the next 12-18 hour period sends their
weakest 7* toon to score 0 damage as a Placeholder. Do this if
you plan to attend the Free For All.
This ensures everyone gets something from the raid, before we
kill it. A countdown will be displayed in chat. You do 0
damage by shooting the guards instead of the captain, or hitting
the door instead of the Rancor, allowing the Gamorrean Guard
group or Rancor to squash you. Use a toon without
Counterattack, and don't use an AOE attack.
Rule 3. If you don't want to play in the Free For All, then in
Phase 2 only do no more than 200,000 damage with a single squad.
If Phase 2 is finished, only send a 0 damage Placeholder,
please.
This allows our players with only one team the convenience of
fighting only once, and yet prevents overlap, so we don't risk
not being able to complete the raid. FYI, 200,000 is 6% of
heroic P2.
Rule 4. Free For All begins after the Placeholder period is
over, and lasts until the Rancor is down. All but the Guard
Clearance Group are free to attack with any toons they have.
Rule 5. In the Free For All period, the Guard Clearance Group
are restricted to their third-best (C-team) in Phase Two, their
second-best (B-team) in Phase Three, and their best (A-Team) in
Phase Four. Watch in chat for when the game sends "Phase Ended"
notices, before sending in the appropriate teams.
We have enough power now, following Rule 5, to ensure we can
finish the Free For All within a couple hours. If you score
over a million with the three squads, cut back to two or one.
Use common sense, and have fun.

Wolfman, QwertyUiop, realSnake, Skirata, Vader85, Varzak, Weljo
Jecos, and zer0gee. As we grow, this list could grow as well.
Anyone can ask to join the Guard Clearance Group at any time.

Breaking a rule results in a Strike, with the baseball analogy
being Three Strikes and you're out. You will be informed prior
to the next raid if you have strikes. You can work off a Strike
by following the rules for three consecutive raids.

Heroic raid schedule posted below. I will keep this up to date,
so look here for upcoming raid times.
Nov 02, Wednesday 8am Central start, Wednesday night 8pm Central
Free For All. Varzak and QwertyUiop will clear guards
Nov 04, Friday 8am Central start, Saturday morning 8am Central
Free For All. Draconite will clear guards
Nov 05, Saturday 8pm Central start, Sunday afternoon 2pm
Central Free For All. alwayswannafly will clear guards
After this, if no one new wants to try to clear the Guards,
we'll start the Third rotation with Vader85.

Optional rule for Placeholder Period, subject to review by
Officers and Members.
Option for Phase 2 only. In the Placeholder period of time, if
you know you will not fight in the Free For All, you may send
one squad, your weakest, to fight Phase 2 of the raid. The idea
is to score a few points, not to clear the phase. If the rancor
battle has moved to Phase 3, this is invalid ... send only a
Placeholder. If you send your weakest squad, you may not
participate further in the raid, unless asked by an Officer to
beat Phase 4.

We rocked this raid! I think in the near future we may have to
go back to the old days of limited runs.

What limits should we set, Vader85? Top 10 doesn't fight in P2?

I have never cleared guards before. Pretty sure that I can, but
would be nice to have a backup just in case.

Vader85 is our backup, Brill. Don't worry, you'll do fine. I'm
told they have substantially less Tenacity than the Heroic
rancor, so your TM should work better, and the captain only has
~2 million damage capacity.

Yeah, i was actually surprised how easy phase 1 was. I think
single handedly clearing phase 1 of t6 is a greater feat than
t7....but the rancor is by far harder :P
