       Raid Rules/Advice Quick Reference for Tank and Rancor
       By: Natewolfman Date: August 24, 2016, 9:59 am

       [list]*This will be a stickied post for quick reference for
       everyone, feel free to comment if you have questions or
       concerns, I will be updating this as we add and adjust*
       ~~~Normal Mode Tank~~~
       Don't need any more
       ~~~Tier 7 Rancor~~~
       Now that we're just farming the Rancor, here's the rules for
       the week starting Thursday, Feb 16th, 2017.
       The new raid is split into 2 Periods. The first is the
       Challenge Period, which lasts 24 hours, covers only Phase 1
       (Gamorreans) and Phase 2 (first Rancor), and restricts who you
       can send to fight. After the day, we open the raid to an
       unrestricted Free For All Period. Details are below.
       Challenge Period: For the day following a raid Start, we have
       fun, by setting simple challenges to spark our squad building
       creativity and skills.
       The goal for this phase is to participate and have fun, not
       clear it, so stop damaging and only do 0 damage placeholders if
       we get to Phase 3.
       If you don't have the relevant toons, just send a single toon as
       a placeholder to ensure your participation.
       If you have a 7* Han Solo (or earned the 330 shards to unlock
       one), have fun, but your damage cap is 400,000 for future raids.
       Closest to the cap without going over wins. :}>
       If you score over 400,000 in the Challenge period of the Rancor
       raid before the Free For All times, please post a screenshot of
       the squad(s) you use on Discord in the raid_screenshot channel.
       Use only squad(s) that meet the Challenge before the Free For
       All.
       Mar 4, 2017 ***** New rule: no Zeta leaders allowed in
       Challenges. It makes them too easy, give someone else a chance.
       You have plenty of chances elsewhere to use them, friends. :}>.
       Free For All Period: At the stated time, it's no limit Free For
       All to clear the raid. Good Hunting.
       ----------------------------------------------------------------
       ------------
       Schedule (2-3 raids/week is all we earn for now ... when we

       ~~~Natewolfman's Rancor Character Advice~~~
       Weather your new to high level raids, or just want to improve
       your performance, here we will show you characters that we have
       found help with raids (Note: when they add more raids we will
       add more characters as needed)
       [list]
       [li]Teebo [Lead]: This little guy is listed in the first spot
       for a reason, he is 100% without a doubt the best thing for the
       Rancor raid, bar none. You will want to use him as your leader
       in most cases especially against Stage 1 of the raid, you will
       also need to prioritize his Omega abilities and Tier upgrades.
       Lastly be sure to outfit him with potency mods, if you can get
       5* potency mods thats great, but even 1* mods are a huge
       help.[/li]
       [li]Captain Phasma [Teebo support/DPS Lead]: I think the second
       most important character to grind for the Rancor raid is phasma,
       she has 3 major purposes. First as a teebo support, when your TM
       reduction is resisted or your attack misses, you will be glad
       you have phasma waiting to give teebo a big TM boost to try
       again. Second, again as a Teebo support, slowing down both the
       Guard and later the Rancor himself are a HUGE necessity, 5's
       makes this part pretty irrelivent, but if you dont have 5s yet,
       this is a good substitute. Finally, Phasma is one of the best
       leads you can have for straight DPS which often is what you want
       for the Rancor stages. For me, phasma is my top priority of who
       to escape after my first attempt.[/li]
       [li]CT-5555 "Fives" [Teebo support/DPS support]: 5's fills
       another very important role in a Teebo lead team, he is your
       primary speed reducer. If you have phasma you can make do, but
       if you have 5s, you WILL keep him sped down until you are done.
       Why phasma ranks higher is both her leader ability and also the
       TM boost, but 5s fills an important role that Phasma cannot, and
       thats DPS. As great as phasma is for keeping the ball rolling,
       she dosnt hit hard, and its nice to chip away at that HP that
       much quicker. Also, If teebo dies and 5s escapes, he is a SUPER
       solid player on a phasma DPS team, ignoring the teebo run, when
       building a DPS list, they are 1 and 2. Also lets not forget to
       add his assist attack, which can give Teebo, QGJ, or TR an extra
       attack to lower more TM.[/li]
       [li]Qui-Gon Jinn [Teebo support]: QGJ and TR(Below) fill the
       same purpose, they are also TM reducers. QGJ edges out TR
       because of his speed, he will often go 2 sometimes 3 times
       before the guards meter fills even once, but the reason they are
       important is, much like phasma, when teebo does fail to reduce
       TM, while they cannot take out 100% like him, they can chip away
       at it, and while he is slowed it is often just enough to give
       teebo a second try (Or sometimes even 3rd try if it fails
       twice). For this reason I would HIGHLY recommend QGJ and/or
       Tusken Raider[/li]
       [li]Tusken Raider [Teebo support]: See QGJ for the reasons to
       use TR, the biggest plus to TR that QGJ dosnt have, is that its
       a GW shipment character which is a very easy grind.[/li]
       [li]Geonosian Soldier [Teebo support]: GS and IG86(Below) fill a
       similar spot for a Teebo team, they give assists which can get
       Teebo to get another hit in, or QGJ, or TR to hit a bit more
       off. Thats basically it, if there is a filler on my team, its
       GS, so why does he rank above IG86? Simply because his assist is
       every other turn, he can do it more, which makes him a bit more
       flexable.[/li]
       [li]IG-86 [Teebo support/DPS support]: Much the same as above,
       IG86 is a less flexable assist toon for the teebo lead, where he
       shines in my opinion though is his high DPS which is especially
       useful in a phasma lead DPS team. That said I would still rank
       him juuuuust below GS as the teebo team is more important in my
       opinion.[/li]
       [li]Rey [Teebo support/DPS support]: Now, Rey I have never used
       in a Teebo team, but I know others do so I figured I would add
       her. she is simply put high DPS, that is her purpose, you could
       trade her in for that GS/IG86 slot and it would probably work
       just fine, she is NOT contributing to the Teebo tactic, but on
       the flip side, between Phasma and teebo she almost always has a
       possitive effect so she can REALLY lay into the DPS. so if you
       think adding more hits is more important then assists, bring
       Rey, you wont be sorry. Aside from that, again in a Phasma lead,
       DPS squad she is my #3, so definitely bring her along for
       this[/li]
       [li]Count Dooku [DPS support]: One more quick mention, To round
       out my DPS team, I love counter attacks against the rancor, so
       while he may not be the best choice (Low HP being the main
       reason) I would like to give a quick shout out to Dooku who for
       me is the bottom of this list, but rounds out my 5th character
       in a DPS run.[/li][/list]
       ~~~Zer0gee's Rancor Character Advice~~~
       This is all in addition to what Nate has above;
       [list][li]Ewok Scout [Teebo Support]: works well with Teebo,
       high dps and TM reduction. [/li]
       [li]Jawa [Generic/5s replacement]: High dps and has a speed
       reduct omega basic form what I hear. (for when you have no more
       toons that can slow).[/li]
       [li]Yoda [Generic]: Great survivability when boss is 50% + HP.
       Also has a TM reduction ability.[/li]
       [li]Royal Guard [Generic]: Speed Reduct Slow, High HP, and
       Taunts. Those taunts com in handy when your glass cannon is low
       or devour comes up.[/li]
       [li]Magma trooper [easy grind]: his high HP and TM reduction
       will comes in handy in the raid. He is more C or D team material
       in my book, but he is an easy grind while you are waiting for
       those other key toons.[/li]
       [/list]
       ~~~Skirata's Rancor Character Advice~~~
       [list]
       [li]Teebo key lead.[/li]
       [li]Phasma for Speed Down, then TM gain, over Fives, with just
       Speed Down. Jawa is alternate, if you have no others.[/li]
       [li](pick two) Ewok Scout, QGJ, Tusken Raider, Chewie, (or Rex
       if P2P) for TM[/li]
       [li]Dengar for Tenacity Down, over Ewok Elder for TM gain,
       healing.  Chief Chirpa is alternate for Ewok teams.[/li]
       [li]Potency mod sets for all but Elder and Chirpa (Health sets
       are fine for them), with Speed arrows and secondaries.  Dengar
       needs Crit Chance Primary.[/li]
       [/list]
       ~~~Vader85's Rancor Character Advice~~~
       My phase 1/4 team is Teebo, Ewok Elder, Ewok Scout, Chief
       Chirpa, and Fives. I have potency moods on Teebo & Scout, and
       Arrow Speed on them as well. Other than that, Health mods are
       important to make them all very tank-ish. This team can take
       down teir 6 phase 1 by themselves and still have protection left
       to keep fighting.
       My best t6 phase 2/3 team is a Teebo lead, Ewok Elder
       (revive/dispel/heal), Rey, Fives, GeoSoldier. I attack the
       rancor exclusively except for EE, he attacks the door until it
       is nearly ready to drop. I then keep going in the rancor until
       Teebo is no longer able to control it's TM and he is about to
       get a turn. Then I hit the door. Using this method and with a
       lot of RNG luck, I've been able to get 4 door drops once,
       however it's typically 2-3 dealing 1.5-3.5 damage...just depends
       on RNG.[/list]

       Other characters that are harder of a grind but should not go
       unnoticed:
       Ewok Scout - works well with Teebo, high dps and TM reduction.
       Jawa - High dps and has a speed reduct omega basic from what I
       hear. (for when you have no more toons that can slow).
       Yoda - Great survivability when boss is 50% + HP. Also has a TM
       reduction ability.
       RG - Speed Reduct Slow, High HP, and Taunts. Those taunts com in
       handy when your glass cannon is low or devour comes up.
       Easy Grind:
       Magma trooper - his high HP and TM reduction will comes in handy
       in the raid. He is more C or D team material in my book, but he
       is an easy grind while you are waiting for those other key
       toons.
       Most of all, synergy is the key. Your toons need to work well
       together.

       Ok I added it and edited for emphasis. I decided it would make
       more sense to separate our own sections and experiences or it
       may become jumbled, how does that look zero/skirata?
       meanwhile if anyone else wants to add there own
       thoughts/feelings/experiences please add them :)

       [/quote]honestly speaking, without your ewok team (assuming you
       still had teebo) you would probably still be at the top, but it
       would be a real battle between you and zero I imagine lol
