Game of thrones talk (SPOILERS!!!)

*****SHOW SPOILERS ONLY*****
I'm not sure who in the guild is a huge game of thrones fan, but
I am (You may have guessed this as our guild name is House
Clegane). GoT is my #1 geek topic, ive read all of the books
(including world of ice and fire and the Dunk & egg series) but
the spoilers in this are only for the show so no worries there.
So if anyone wants to chat thrones this is the place to do it :)

I love the show, but havent read the books.
I cant wait until (really hope this actually happens) Bran
mind-controls a dragon!

K, I wont do any book spoilers unless the show has decided never
to cover it.
I agree, Bran warging into a dragon will be great, there is this
cool fan theory that I like but it only works for the books and
not the show. The theory is, inside 'The Wall' is a giant
sleeping ice dragon. In the books when Mance Rayder(spell?)
attacks the wall his big threat is that he has a special horn
that (according to legend) if it is blown into it will destroy
the wall. He dosnt use it because he also wants the wall in
between his people and the white walkers, but the theory says
that horn dosnt just magically destroy the wall, it wakes up the
dragon. The theory also thinks that this dragon will be taken by
Jon Snow, but thinking about it now, I think if it exists it
would make more sense for Bran. But like I said the show ditched
this small sub-plot so its probably not true lol

Snow is actually the son of Ned Stark's sister and what's his
face Targarien

The most recent episode shows the fight at the tower of joy
(which was a great fight) but he was pulled back before going
into the tower, im guessing (because its not in the books so its
not a spoiler) that bran will go back and see whats in the tower
which will be Jon with his mother

I could get behind that! And because Ned Stark felt bad for the
honorless way the targarian guy died, he will take John in after
Ned's sister died in child birth. Guess we'll see :)

I read a comment of George Martin on the theory that John is
Targaryen and in that comment he said, that Ned is in fact Ned's
son. He did it because he didn't want to have a character with
no flaws at all. John as a bastard child is supposed to be Ned
Stark's flaw. But of course, the TV show is kinda leading to the
fact, that he might actually be Lyanna's son. Anyway, I am a fan
of that theory.
There were some talks about the 3 dragon riders that are
supposed to save the world and they were talking about Daenerys,
John and Tyrion (being the 3rd rider).
Anyway, I really am afraid and dunno what to expect from TV show
and I am curious if the new book will have similar facts as TV
show now. I am a lil sad that they cut of many chars in the
show, like little gryff (Aegon Targaryan, son of Rhaegar). Not
including this char in the show almost equals "he is not
important character". I was excited to have another Targaryan.

Of all the cut characters I miss, Strong Belwas is at the top of
that list. GRRM has already said that a character that the show
killed off (who is still alive in the books) will be really
important to the book plot, so I would take that to mean that
characters who have been cut from the show (Arienne Martel is a
big one that pops into my mind) might still have a big purpose
in the books.
I feel like that Ned comment might have been him trying to block
spoilers, and a cool thing from the show perspective, The Knight
of the Morning being killed in there duel by being stabbed in
the back is a huge mark on Ned's honor, I think they are going
to play off him accepting a kid as a strike instead of the
dishonorable kill, but well see (hopefully) soon enough :)
