Best Use of Crystals

What is the best use of crystals in your oppinion? Is it worth
saving money for 8 chromium packs? I watched some videos where
they were opening a lot of packs and most of the times trash
chars dropped. Although, my char base is still not that
substantial.
What do u guys think? Where else would crystals be used to be
worth?

I save them for energy and only energy. You can spend 100 on a
full refresh of Cantina energy, then two 50 crystal LS/DS energy
purchases. This will help you advance your player level quicker
too since you'll be getting lots more experience points.

If your doing chromium packs consistently then definitely save
for the 8 pack, but like Vader I always do a cantina refresh
(because cantina has soooo many good characters and those packs
come slow) then I normally do 2 ls/ds refreshes but sometimes
I'll do an arena refresh instead. Then when I inevitably have
enough of a build up from one, I get a chromium pack

So you guys spend 100 crystals on Cantina refresh + 100 crystals
on ls/ds every day? Are you buying crystals for money or is this
coming only from what you earn from daily missions and arena?

Btw, did anyone keep track of how many crystals you get daily
for daily missions and for a completed galactic war campaign?

I dont pay, the biggest place to get crystals is arena, the
higher your rank the more crystals. Staying between 100-200 plus
galactic war (which I think is 25 crystals?) and the daily
rewards gives me about 200 per day to do those things. If I get
under 100th place then I have some extra to play with

Yeah, arena is the place... Under 100, you get 100. Under 50,
you get 150.

It is really hard for me though. I have a hard battle group. I
always get shifted back. Do you also refresh arenas with
crystals? If I do normal 5 arenas per day, I keep myself at
250-300.
Also, when do you do arenas? I do 3 of them right after daily
refresh and then I have 2 attempts, which I save till later, in
case I get shifted under 500. I wonder if it would be better to
play later during the day.
My brother just started playing and he has totally new team, he
placed in top 200 today... little lucky bastard :P he got in a
good battle group.

heh that is lucky, it took me a month to break into the top
1,000 lol, but if you get a decent team of 7*'s you should be
able to maintain the top 200, to get into the top 100 I normally
need to use a crystal refresh, then I can normally hold it for a
day or two if I want to be in the top 50 I need another refresh,
then the fights get really hard lol

I don't use refreshes, but at the worst I end up at about
130ish...
I save my battles for the end of the day and try to make the
last one end just before the payout time.
