PvP event tactics

Reddit pointed out an exploit where whale pairs swap their
Defense teams out, and fight each other in sequence, from
weakest to strongest squads. With 18 squads each, they get
6,000+ points/day without spending crystals. Unless you can
duplicate this, which we can't, DON'T spend crystals on this
event until this is fixed.
***********************
Based on what I've seen, here are some tactics to get the most
with the fewest crystals spent.
Use your best Arena team for Defense. You can use them for
Offense, as well.
1. For the first day, wait until the evening to fight, but
fight every day. The longer you wait, the more players fight
before you, which means you have more choices of Defense teams,
which means more weak teams to choose from.
2. Fight the weakest teams possible. Refresh lots, like
choosing an arena opponent, until the weakest option to your
squad presents itself. Then do your best to win with the fewest
casualties.
3. Divide all available toons unto squads, and use them from
weakest to strongest. As you win, your opponents get stronger,
so your squads need to get stronger to match. Starting Day 2,
only your top 3-4 squads will be able to win against your
current opponents, so focus all resources on them.
4. SEE NOTE ABOVE. If you spend crystals, plan how much to use,
and refresh your top X squads once, instead of your top squad X
times. Refresh costs escalate from 5 to 15 to 25 to 50, so four
squads refresh once costs the same as your top squad only twice.
5. Don't End Battle unless stuck in endless loop. You get no
survivor bonus. Instead, try to take out as many opponents as
possible.
6. Synergistic squads are key. Synergy is not reflected in the
Power rankings. Use the most, and choose opponents Defense
teams with the least.
Good hunting, House Clegane.

It also might be a good idea, if you have a big roster, to plan
ahead with your toons and pre make teams. I realize after the
fact that my teams were pretty sub optimal, I am also wondering
if your top arena team is super badass (mine wasnt even close to
loseing a single toon) if its better to separate them out to
make more teams able to at least take down a few enemies?
That said, here are my toons, separated into hopfully optimal
teams.

After Day one, only a few, tough teams will be able to win, so
I'd concentrate on 3 to 4 squads.
Using synergy, I'd suggest, from worst to best, Teebo leads DPS,
Jedi's, Droids, and Dooku for you, Nate. Swap any mods used by
anyone else to these four squads. Good luck.
Dooku leads Rey, Fives, Savage, Kylo
HK leads B2, IG-86, IG-88, Poggle
QGJ leads Ahsoka, Luminara, JKA, and your choice of Mace or
Yoda.
Teebo leads Sidius, Lando, GS, Leia
By the way, these are how I'd split your groups for GW as well,
sending Teebo against Node 1, QGJ Node 2, and HK Node 3 to seed
their turn meters, before using your main run team starting Node
4. That way, when you get to 9 and 11, you can throw the Jedis
and Droids will full TM at them to weaken them, before mopping
up with your primary.
I hope this helps,
Skirata

Thanks for the advice, as it was I was running 3 teams (Droids,
Jedi, and my main team) but 4 is definatly better.
As for GW, I tended to run in my main team (so starting with
node 4) Luminara and ahsoka for healing, I would use then to
keep everyone up until node 9 which Lumi is always outclassed,
then I would add in a better fighter, then for 10 I would add
her back in to heal everyone up for 11
