Monthly Maintenance - 2nd January 2019

Hello everyone. Tomorrow is our first monthly maintenance. So
here are some questions you may have:
What Happens During A Monthly Maintenance?
During a monthly maintenance, we will be making sure that
everything works properly, security is in working order, spam
posts and spam accounts get deleted and a bunch of other stuff.
We also make sure that nothing is broken in the process of a
maintenance.
How Long Do The Maintenances Last?
The maintenance will last usually for 1 hour and 45 minutes. It
also varies on the amount of stuff that's broken, spam
accounts/posts and how much of security is not working properly.
The more broken stuff and spam accounts/posts then it will
probably last for 2+ hours if a lot of things are broken.
Can I Enter During A Monthly Maintenance Or Any Other Kind Of
Maintenance?
No. User accounts can visit the site but they cannot go any
further than the login screen. Only staff members get to access
the site during maintenance and have access to all parts of the
site during one.
Well that's some of the questions you may have all answered.
Tomorrows maintenance will occur tomorrow at 14:00(GMT) and will
go on until 15:45(GMT). You will not be able to access the site
during between these times.

You're welcome. And no, as I said, you won't be able to get
further than the login screen during maintenance.

A monthly maintenance is so that the site is checked up to be in
working order. If we did it on any random day and month then
some parts of the website might be broken before that random
maintenance occurs and people will probably be angry because it
wasn't fixed before. A monthly maintenance counter-acts this so
that everything stays in working order.
