New Logo - 30th December 2018

It has been 4 days since Hobbyist was founded and so far there
is a lot of room and potential to grow and develop.
I would like to thank, fantanoice, for pointing this out.
According to, fantanoice, the Hobbyist logo which was just a
blank 'H', looked bland and said that it didn't scream 'Hobby'
to her. I had to agree with her that after looking closer, it
did look bland. So after sketching some designs, I picked the
first design and started making it. Since the old logo looked
bland, I figured 'Why not add some colour.' and so I did. Each
colour represents the people of Hobbyist and peoples ability to
have fun, learn and adapt to new hobbies and activities. I've
yet to decide what each colour means though.
This is the second Hobbyist logo and to me, it looks great. It
may not look professional but hey; it's for a forum and forums
don't need to be professional looking.
I hope you like the new logo as much as I did making it. Have
fun! ;D

its okay I guess… it just looks like it belongs to a childrens
site and not an online forum

It's reasonable for the time being but its probably best to
change it as soon as you release Version 1.1.0 which isn't
faraway to be honest. I have to agree with Hoopla on this one
because it does look like it belongs on more of a childrens site
rather than an online forum where mostly teenagers - adults will
be on.

Yes it may look childish but as I said, fantanoice said that it
didn't scream hobby and how it looked plain so I had to add a
bit of colour to it to make it look more appealing and less
bland. Yes I know it belongs to a childrens site but going with
LexiCats response, I will need to make a better logo and use a
better program such as Gimp because the logo was made in
Paint.net which probably isn't the best for logos.
I'll see if I can learn Gimp and make a much better logo. If you
don't like it then I am sorry and I will make sure the next logo
is better.
