Personality: Calculist, revengeful, extremely patient, she can
take years before she strikes like a spider weaving its web.
Incapable of feeling remorse or compassion, all her good
feelings died along with her husband. She tries to play innocent
at first but when she realizes people don't believe her, she can
get extremely dangerous. Kim is on a crusade for revenge and has
absolutely no respect for life, if you stand in her way, or she
sees you as an obstacle to her goal, you're bond to be her next
victim.

History:
South Vietnam, November 10, 1947 - Kim is found by a small
farmer in a forest in South Vietnam, he's on his way home from
market when he hears her cry. She's not too far away from the
road so he assumes her mother had abandoned her to be found and
decides to adopted her. Even though she grows up with more
brothers and sisters she never feels like she's been adopted as
she always feels equally loved by her parents. Actually she
never had any idea she's been adopted until later.
South Vietnam, November 20, 1963 - Shortly after her sixteenth
birthday she marries Phan Van Diem, it's an arranged marriage
but she's lucky enough to marry the man she loves. They're
childhood friends and she always had a crush on him. Phan Van
Diem's family is deeply involved in the Vietcong guerilla war
and even though Khiem begs her husband to leave them, he's
unable to do it and she's unable to convince him. They live four
years in relative peace even though war is quickly escalating
all around them.
South Vietnam, December 18, 1967 - A squad of the US Marine
forces attacks her village looking for Vietcong enemies, Khiem
tries to convince her husband to run away but he refuses and
decides to fight. The Marines quickly kill him in the gunfight
that follows and Khiem is so enraged when she sees her now dead
husband, she picks up his gun and tries to shoot at them. She
only manages to shoot once before she is taken down. She falls
in the river behind her and is quickly taken away by the strong
current. When she wakes up at the river bank, she can tell many
hours had passed, it's almost nightfall but still she decides to
walk back to her village even though she's afraid of what she's
going to find there.
South Vietnam, December 20, 1967 - After almost two days of
being lost, Khiem finally manages to reach her village only to
find her whole family dead. She's now sure why she's not dead as
she should have been, she was brought back to revenge all of
them. She drags them all to one of the huts and sets it on fire
swearing never to rest until they have been revenged. Khiem half
falls from exhaustion, half falls asleep from being without
sleep for almost two days, after she finishes her gloomy job.
She's waken up by a feeling she had never experienced before,
and a man standing over her with a sword in his hand. After
staring at her for a while, and realizing her helplessness, he
quickly hides his sword again, and introduces himself as Captain
Tran Sinh and asks her what happened there. Khiem tells him
about the attack and that she wants to join the fight but he
convinces her she'll be more useful working as a spy instead.
She spends the rest of the war working as a spy in a brothel in
Saigon.
South Vietnam, May 10, 1975 - After the fall of Saigon she
eagerly waits for any news from her mentor, hoping he'll let her
follow her enemies and finally get a proper revenge for her
family. When Captain Tran Sinh shows up, he finds out she's
determined to leave and hoping to avoid the inevitable tells her
the truth about Immortals and what she really is. He introduces
himself as Shunji Takeshi, a 15th century Ninja warrior, and
proposes to train her in his ancient art of war. Khiem hates him
for lying to her, but recognizing she's no options manages to
hide it with a smile. He smuggles her out to Japan at the end of
the mouth.
Japan, June 23, 1980 - Khiem's training is finally complete.
Unlike male Ninja her training as a Kunoichi, or female Ninja,
focused more on disguise, poisons, and using her gender to an
advantage. While she was trained in close combat, she was only
to make use of this knowledge when she was caught. She's
dismayed when he forces her to seduce her would-be victims or to
disguise as a household servant instead of attacking them right
away but realizing that two can play that game, she hides her
grudge against him and tries to gain his complete trust.
Japan, March 28, 1982 - Khiem finally gets her chance to kill
her teacher after he takes a Quickening. She'd been waiting
patiently, they have been lovers for almost a year, and he
trusts her completely. He doesn't suspect a thing until she puts
her sword against his neck when he's down. Finally free, she
wastes no time in preparing to go to the United States.
USA, July 9, 1983 - Khiem finally manages to find out the names
of the Marines that were around her village at the time of the
attack. She's not sure with squad did it, so she decides to wipe
out the whole platoon. She convinces herself that it wasn't the
first time they did it, so they're all guilty anyway and deserve
to die. She begins to look at their hometown addresses, those
who are unlucky enough to have come back or have family there
that can give her directions are the first to go. She makes sure
their family and friends go first like it was done to her, and
is particularly thrilled when despite everything they choose to
fight her. She kills them with a happy smile on her lips.
USA, May 7, 2009 - After almost 26 years of nonstop killing
Khiem's list is finally getting to an end. Her last target has
given her unexpected information about a former colleague she'd
almost given up trying to find. He's living in Seacouver so she
decides he's next, according to the alphabetic list she had, he
should have died a long time ago anyway.
