History:
1973 – Dave was found abandoned at a church by a priest who
heard him cry while he was preparing for an early mass. After
staying a while in hospital, he soon was delivered to an
orphanage. He didn’t stay there long though, he was such that a
beautiful baby, that was adopted by the first couple that saw
him, Glenda and James Bradford. They had been trying to have a
baby ever since they got married but never managed it. They had
given up having one of their own and where looking for a child
to love.
1994 – There was never a question of what Dave would do when he
grew up, his father was a cop, his grandfather had been a cop,
he was the last from a long dynasty of law-enforcement officers
and all he ever wanted was to be one of them. So when he
graduated from High School he joined the Police Academy.
2003 – He had made it to Detective-Investigator and was on his
way to the top, when he was framed by some crooked cops. He had
inadvertently found out some of their crimes, and before he
could find out who they were, they decided to cut their losses
and remove him from the picture. He was dismissed for misconduct
from the NYPD. His father, now retired, had a heart attack, and
passed away. All his police friends turned their backs on him,
but he didn’t give up. He investigated on his own and managed to
expose the bad cops and clear his name. Though he could have
gone back to the force, he was too disgusted by his colleagues’
mistrust that he decided not to. He started to work as a private
investigator.
2006 – After working for some other private agencies, the day
came when he started to work for Craig Bower at Bower’s Agency.
2008 – In the last two years he has become one of Craig’s top
investigators and when Craig chose to open another agency at
Seacouver, it was natural enough he asked for his help. He
wasn’t even in Seacouver a year when he got involved in an
investigation involving Ashton Lawrence, a crazy Immortal, and
got killed for the first time while trying to arrest him. He
revived and witnessed Craig Bower take his Quickening. He’s now
trying to adapt to his new role as Craig’s student.
