History:
1505: Born in Colooney, Ireland.
1545: Died (first death) when stabbed during a brawl in the
local tavern.
1720: joined the Dorrigton Regiment of the Irish Brigade.
1733: The war of the Polish Succession broke out and he went to
fight in Germany.
1740: Died during the Austrian Succession and returned to
Ireland where he met Kyra who took him on as her student. He
studied and stayed with her for 4 years.
1744: Joined the newly formed regiments of Lally, Dillon,
Clare, Berwick, Roth, Bulkley and Fitzjames.
1745: Fought along side Bonnie Prince Charlie in the Scottish
Rebellion.
1746: Fought at Culloden, then, after the Scotts retreated, was
sent to India to fight the British.
1762: Died when the Irish Cavalry was wiped out at
Wilhelmstahl.
1779: Went to the U.S. to help the colonists in their rebellion
against the English.
1792: Was sent to the Caribbean to fight the French.
1794: Returned to Ireland and joined Edward Dillon in Italy
fighting on the side of England.
1798: Returned to Ireland to fight the British in the Irish
Rebellion.
1820: Met Mary Ryan, fell in love and married her. Took her
dowry and bought some land in Killarney and tried farming.
1826: Mary's father died leaving his entire estate to her. They
cashed it in and bought some more land and a couple of prize
Andelusian stallions and started a breeding ranch.
1834: Hire a couple (Kerry as a cook...Devon as a ranch hand)
and let them live in their "gate house".
1835: Kerry gives birth to a daughter but dies soon after child
birth. Devon becomes a drunk and throws himself off a cliff
into the ocean so the Flynn's adopt the baby girl and name her
Nicayla Flynn.
1835: Liam realizes Nicayla is a pre-Immortal. He has been able
to hide his Immortality from Mary and now must hide what Nicayla
is and protect her, too.
1850: Drought threatens to destroy the ranch so Liam sells it
quickly and moves his family to the U.S. and homesteading land
in the Oregon Territories.
1851: Mary dies of TB and Liam is left to raise his teenage
tomboyish rowdy daughter alone just as the new breeding ranch
begins to make a profit.
1852: Nicayla rebels against Liam's over bearing and overly
protective ways and runs away from home.
1866: Sells ranch and joined the Fenian Irish Republican Army
and invaded Canada.
1871: Joined the Irish Legion and aided the French during the
Franco-Prussian War.
1875: Returns to the Pacific Northwest and joins the Calvary.
But after witnessing a senseless slaughter of a small Indian
village he desserts and moves to Canada and becomes a scout.
1880: takes a wagon train from Canada to San Francisco. On the
way back home his horse throws a shoe in a small town in what is
now Washington State. While waiting for the blacksmith to shoe
his horse, he sees Nicayla ride into town. As she gets closer
he feels the buzz that tells him she has become Immortal. Sense
he never told her he was an Immortal and never told her that she
would be one too he decides not to let her know he's still alive
and hides. But he stays near town for a month or two just
watching his daughter with pride at who she had become and how
she handled herself.
1882: Liam returns to Canada and disappears into the mountains
and is lost track of for several years.
1914: Returns to the U.S. and joins the Army to fight in WW I.
1918: Crosses paths with Nicayla again, and again stays hidden,
but follows her back to Oregon and watches her build a thriving
and prosperous cattle ranch.
1921: Returns to Ireland and starts another breeding ranch in a
small town of Devlyn.
1943: Returns to the States and joins the Marine Corp to fight
in WW II.
1944: Met Claire Von Armon in Austria and she falls in love
with him.
1945: Remains in Austria when the war ends and marries Claire.
And again disappears and is lost track of for several years.
1952: Liam cannot bring himself to tell Claire what he is so
when he notices her getting older he leaves her. He "bums"
around Europe for awhile.
1963: Returns to the States and joins the Army to fight in Viet
Nam.
1965: Is captured by the Viet Cong and held in a POW camp.
1969: Escapes the POW camp but is killed several miles away so
he hitches a ride on a freighter bound for Greece. He "bums"
around Europe some more.
1991: Returns to the States and joins the Marine Corp to fight
in Desert Storm.
1993: Travels to Arizona and spends a month checking on Nicayla
then returns to Ireland and his job as a trainer which is where
he has been ever since.
