       The 2nd Anniversary of the Passing of Tom Deeb
   DIR By: Mach O Melvin
       Date: March 24, 2018, 5:27 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
       Tom Deeb was a self-made man, who became successful through his
       own wit and skill. Despite adversity Tom was able to use his
       unique perception and abilities to make it work. Not only was
       Tom a prolific entrepreneur and mentor, he was also generous,
       caring, and had a great sense of humor. He will be greatly
       missed by all that knew him.
       Thomas Edward Deeb passed away suddenly Monday, March 21, 2016
       in Denton, Texas with his Partner Janice Jennings by his side.
       He was 66.
       He was born September 26, 1949 in Mishawaka, Indiana to parents
       Isaac and Edna Deeb. He proudly served his country by joining
       the US Air Force from 1973 to 1976 during the Vietnam War, which
       he was honorably discharged.
       In his spare time, he took pleasure in darts, shooting pool and
       was most passionate about guns. In 1993 he founded Hi-Point
       Firearms which has a manufacturing plant in Mansfield. Ever
       since he has been manufacturing guns for the “working people”.
       Most recently Tom was featured in an American Rifleman article,
       which showcased his hard work, love, and knowledge of firearms.
       Manufacturing of firearms also led Tom to working closely with
       law enforcement throughout the US, and working 10 plus years
       with AFTE. He was very passionate about AFTE and was
       instrumental in both AFTE education and creating indentifying
       processes used by firearms examiners across the US.
       Tom was survived by his children Tom (Kelly) Saunders, Keri
       Petersen, Jody (John) Beidelschies, Thomas E. (Delena) Deeb II,
       Jessica (Dustin) Seitz, Alisha (Dustin) Sqrow, Mychal Deeb,
       David Deeb, James Deeb, Brad (Mandi) Jennings, and Kim Jennings;
       grandchildren Erika Shilling, Erin Rennaker, Alec Deeb, Abagail
       Seitz, Collin Seitz, Vincent Sqrow, Emilia Sqrow, Braxtyn Sqrow,
       Bryson Jennings, Isaac Caporini, Taylor Touby, Rex Woodruff,
       Jordan Woodruff, Alexandra Woodruff, and Aylee Beidelschies;
       several great grandchildren; ex-wife Shirley Deeb; a brother
       Charles Deeb, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
       Tom was preceded in death by his parents; son Bryan Miller;
       brothers David Deeb and James Deeb; sisters Rose Jernigan,
       Elizabeth “Dolly” Stallings-Dill, and ex-wife and close friend

       in the Life Celebration Reception Center, 129 S. Main Street,
       Mansfield.
       Contributions in his memory to US Autism & Asperger Association
       may be made at www.usaaa.org.

       Nice tribute.
       He was in USAF same time I was, but I was in from '73-'77.
       Do you know where he was stationed and what his field was?
