So I am going to use my JCP for practical pistol this year.
I'll be doing any upgrades I can. I am going to do the JS Arms
guide rod and trigger spring. I'll also grab the take down screw
while I am at it.
Since I am doing the trigger spring I'll also do the
Thingmeister trigger while I am at it
Hoping for more mods down the road to help with the shoots.
Considering the Mahan sights but to me the rear sights on the
JCP aren't too bad
But it has me thinking about what other possible mods could be,
that don't exist yet.
I wish there was a way to change the front sight, but that would
be A LOT of work. Near as I can tell you'd have to grind down
the front sight, the but in a channel/dove tail for a new one.
Then you'd need the new front sight. I guess it would be
possible to mill the slide to accept a signt that is already on
the market?
I don't know what else I would want.
Maybe a set of Hogue grips that replace the side panels and wrap
around the back, or front, but not a slip on grip. While I love
the feel of the slip on grips, I don't like the way they work.
Something like this

Ordered a mag from there already. I'm getting the Galco holster
too.
Might grab the Tuff1 grips too.
