Got my JCP

So I have been wanting another JCP for a while now after I
traded mine a few years ago. I got an awesome trade so no
complaints but I missed the JCP.
Looked a a few local shops Friday night. Even checked out the
new Ruger Security 9. Awesome gun. If anyone is looking for a
mid size, good capacity 9 i would recommend it.
But I had my heart set on a JCP.
FOund some good deals online. Buds had it for for about $150 but
then I would have to pay the FFL Fee. cheapest local place is
$20.
On a whim Saturday morning I decided to check out Dunham's
website. I have one about 45 minutes away. Their normal prices
are high, but they run good sales.
Well, it turns out they had a sale starting Saturday, had the
JCP and JHP for $159. I called and they said they had the 45 in
stock.
Decided I was going to get the 45 and took a road trip. When I
got there they had the JCP so I grabbed that. (My plan is to buy
a 1911 in 45 fo my 45th birthday).
I didn't do anything to it. No cleaning, no lube nothing. DIdn't
do anything with the mag. No lube, no cleaning, no polishing,
nothing with the mag lips.
Ran 50 rounds of Federal aluminum ammo through it tonight and
had not one single issue. No jam, no failure to feed, nothing.

I'm assuming there was no RK near you haha.. My 40 was a scatter
gun out the box. Took a little dialing in. She's still not dead
nuts, but close. Not sure what the deal is with the 40.
But was my 1st Hi-Point and I will take it to my grave. Just
wish I could find someone to Cerakote it for me. All these Glock
fanbois round here won't touch it. Oh well...

Not sure where the nearest RK is. Somewhere in Ohio I think.
I really like my 40 though. Funny, I just saw on Facebook a
memory form 4 years ago on Feb 20 was my first range trip with
my last 40
