Is it really better to get forgiveness than permission??

So after a couple of months of my small circle saying repeatedly
'you don't need another gun', I was fed up and ordered a plinker
last night. I worked all thru the Christmas and New Year
shutdown at the plant, and by golly I deserve a treat!
And she's quite the looker too..

There are several members here that shoot the Ruger SR22, and
       speak highly about it!

I love my SR22. I've only had it a few months and have shot it
more than any other gun I have ever owned. I actually even carry
       it on occassion

Yea it's a fine little weapon.. I bought the purple one for my
fiancé last Christmas.. She's probly put 5000 rds thru it. She
loves it, aside from the mags failing to feed the last round..
Which isn't important in a plinker

Interesting, I have never had that problem with the 2 mags it
came with. I have one more I just got and haven't tried yet,
I'll have to see what happens next time I go to the range

Well it's my fault I guess.. It was my first attempt at any type
of modification whatsoever. I was putting the extended grip on
one of the mags to see which she preferred. Well, I didn't
realize the spring would launch itself into low orbit as soon as
that little piece was removed. After about 3 hrs I finally found
it and got it replaced, thinking all was good. Nope, it will not
empty a mag lol. Aside from buying new mags I've no idea what to
       do.

So I had commented that I never had a problem with my mags.
My Brother In Law gave me a mag and I tried it on Monday. I had
a lot of problems with it feeding and I was running CCI.
Honesty the mag has probably never been used. He bought the SR
brand new for his wife but she never used it so he sold it but
kept one magazine and that's the one I got.
I have it loaded with 10 rounds and ill try it next time I get
to the range, probably within the week
