Answer, adjust front sight. (not the first person to have this
       issue of late)
       FYI:
Front sight is the opposite direction you want the bullet to
       move on target.
Rear sight moves the same direction you want the bullet to move
       on target.
It was also suggested to use a laser bore sight. If you have a
few guns or are wanting to put a scope on some and not waste
ammo, I recommend this small investment it is cheaper than ammo
and gets you on paper fast.

       I have a 22lr, 9mm, 40 S&W, and a 45 acp bore sights. A whole
       lot cheaper than ammo!

Looks like I'll be dumping my 45 Carbine. Still hitting nothing
@30 yds and after 45 rounds couldn't even get near a milk jug.
The AR tore it up so it has to be a defective carbine. And BTW,
I wasn't smart enough to take it apart and do all that stuff
suggested in that other post (which I can't find) and check
everything. Really disappointed, it's been my 1 and only
       negative experience with a Hi-Point.

I have heard of guys sending new and used guns back to factory,
for complete, FREE replacements. I wouldn't pass it on. One, I
don't like selling or trading broken guns. Two, I'm always up to
a good challenge. And with HP's warranty, you won't be
       disappointed!

I got a brand new in the box 4595ts. I could not get it to sight
in. The bullets would zing all over the place.
I took a look inside the barrel, the rifling has very bad
pitting and scratches, called Mom they said send it back so it's
       now at the factory.

You are a Blessed man! MoM will make it right!!! But I don't
know how a brand new gun could have pits & scratches in the
barrel? Did you buy it6from a store, internet or an individual?

Bought it at a gun shop in Mo. took it back asked if they would
help me send it in. The shop owner was shocked as I was at what
the barrel looked like so he helped me box it up and he sent it
off. Cost me Around $20.00 for USPS. It's already there at
       Mom's.
