Good morning/afternoon/evening...
I'm a Senior Aerospace Quality Engineer nearing retirement and I
can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm in Northern
California for a job, but am originally from Southern
California. Either part is not where I want to be after
retirement. I support the 2nd, and am considering Vegas as my
end game. I drive a Jeep and when I settle down, will probably
get another Harley. I was in the Army from 1974 thru 1980 in the
9th Inf. (Ft Lewis, WA), 101st (Ft. Campbell, KY) 2nd Inf.
(Near DMZ n Korea) and 7th Inf. (Ft. Ord). I did some time in
the Cal National Guard in the early 80's but didn't like the
treatment so I got out. I was issued an M3 Grease gun (.45 ACP)
and it was a blast to shoot. (Google it) I picked up the HP .45
carbine and really like it a lot. I think that's plenty about me
for now. Thank you for having me and I look forward to reading
and learning here.

My youngest son was stationed in S. Korea on a base called K-16,
right outside of Seoul. He blessed my Wife & I with a Korean
daughter n law. She is such a sweet girl, we couldn't be more
proud of them both. I am glad you found your way to the Hi Point
line of firearms. I have owned close to 200 guns in my 60 years
on earth, and HP's are no where near the worst guns I have ever
owned. As far as semi-auto guns go, I have yet see one that is
absolutely perfect. There are many variables in the firing of a
gun, and a semi-auto just throws a few more on the fire so to
speak?
We set this page up in anticipation that facebook may shut down
our gun pages. And since most of our members in the Café, are
men & women of the cloth so to speak, we choose not to join
other (foul mouthed) forums in the internet. We do hope you
enjoy your stay. we are really trying to build the forum up, so
post away my friend!
