Update on my wife Rhonda

Hey folks, haven't been here in a while, I got Rhonda home from
hospital about 3 weeks ago, she is taking up all of my time
caring for her, since the septic shock her mind hasn't been too
good, I had to take meds away from her and administer them to
her, she will say strange words for something she knows what it
is, I will say the last week she is doing better mentally.
The breast cancer was the same as first one in 2009, they say
she needs chemo but in her state now they won't do it, Dr.
actually said it would kill her, so we are just putting our
faith that God will will keep the cancer from spreading, the
lymph nodes were cancer free so that is a good sign.
She has had a problem with the double mastectomy, on left side
developed what they call a soma, it is fluid build up where
breast was removed, she still has a pencil size opening that is
draining, but now starting to seal up.
This has been quite an adventure but she is slowly returning to
normal, we have a nurse and physical therapy 3 times a week.
I think she will be ok but it will take a couple months to get
back to normal.
I want to thank you again for all your prayers, the morning of
9/1 at about 5 am she almost died and I'm sure your prayers kept
her with me.

Mike, I'm still Praying very hard for you!
I try very hard to NOT think, " what if I was in your shoes"! I
almost cry everytime I think about it!

Thank you Mel, it means a lot to me, my nerves are totally
frayed I will be lost without her, I'm just so thankful see is
doing better.
