I totally agree!
Some people have a real problem making a stand for anything? My
83 year old Dad is unable to refrain from watching NFL football.
He just doesn't care what they do or don't do. If it is a
inconvenience to him, he wants no part of it. To boycott the NFL
is not a racist thing to do, but a patriotic thing to do, but he
want nothings to do with either.

Let me preface what I am about to say with a little background.
I am extremely patriotic. I'm that guy that stands with my hand
over my heart when the National Anthem is played on tv. My
Grandfather served in WWII and Korea. My Great Uncle served in
WWII. My Uncle served. My son is currently serving. I tried to
serve but I had some medical issues and only made it half way
through basic training before being discharged. I have more
friends that are vets or active military than I can count. With
all that said, yes I am appalled and sickened by this display of
"protesting". But if we are going stop watching games and burn
all our NFL gear in order to show our outrage, we are also
boycotting, if you will, all of the players that feel the same
way we do and are just as outraged as we are. To me personally,
it makes more sense to start boycotting the companies that are
sponsoring these games by advertising their products during the
game. Trust me, all the NFL really cares about is money and if
they start losing sponsors, ie money, they are going to make
changes. So, my suggestion would be to find out who is
advertising during the games, contact them and Roger Goodells
office and let them know that until this "protesting" stops, you
will no longer be purchasing their products. If enough people do
so, there will be a change.

Sorry, I did not mean to dislike your post. I meant to agree
with your post. It won't allow me to change it?
My list of companies that I am boycotting grows by the day! My
wife say's it is almost a joke, Just who am I not boycotting?
lol
