       David Mahan Sights

       I recently had a chance to try out David's NEW (gen3) Hi Point
       rear handgun sights. As were the Gen 2 version, very easy to
       install. I watched the on-line video several times before
       starting, just to make sure nothing had changed. I had
       previously took my OD JCP-40 out and shot 3 magazines, and as
       usual I had a 4" pattern. Then after I installed the new Mahan
       sights, it took me 5 or 6 shot to zero in. I ran 3 mags through
       it. with about a 2 1/2" pattern. I think the biggest plus with
       the Mahan sights is the ability to shoot competitively. After
       shooting many many rounds with the original HP plastic sights,
       they tend to move or shift a bit, throwing your aim off.
