Yes it is time and has been time for the past hundred years

I'm mixed on this. While I completely understand the thought
behind this, I don't know.
Here's my one thought counter to imposing the limits. We the
people keep electing them.
I mean, we are the ones continuing to repeatedly put these
people in office, some times for decades.
The easiest fix would be to simply vote for someone else.
The only downside is that there aren't always challengers,
especially in the primaries. But that's still our fault, someone
could step up and try to challenge the incumbent.
But in the meantime, it's on us for creating career
politicians, then complaining about it and expecting congress to
do something about it

I think if an Incumbent was out of time, there would be more
people ready to step up to the plate. When an Incumbent has a
winning record, it discourages an opponent from trying?

I'm sure that's definitely a huge factor, no doubt.

I agree, plus look at how much it cost to run! It cost at least
tens of millions $$$$ for a job that pays 6 digits. The system
is so rigged and corrupt. It is a pay to play system at the
moment. When people go in to run they are backed by the super
rich (you scratch my back I will scratch yours) they all want
something in return for their support. Not to mention getting
endorsed by the already corrupted (elected) in office. They all
owe someone something.(I want change! I want Term limits! It
will take the common people to stand together to get it done.We
are the backbone of this great nation, together we are strong!
Divided we are broken, weak and controlled!)

The reason we keep voting for them is because humans are by
nature creatures of habit. "Since they're already in there and
they're not killing us I guess they can stay in there" is
basically the mindset. We need term limits in place to protect
us from our own laziness.

All great points guys!!! I have to admit when I vote if I
don't like any that are running I will vote against the one I
dislike the most.I am pro life-pro rights period. And as you can
see I am pro Gun or GUNS.Pro militia, PRO- THE RIGHT TO BARE
ARMS and without a CPL or any other kind of licence needed as
long as the person(s) are U.S. Citizens.I use to live in
Tennessee when I was a young boy and everyone had a rifle rack
in the back window of their trucks with a shot gun and a rifle
on it, and a pistol in the glove box.We have allowed big brother
to get too big.Yes limiting their terms could be a big step in
the right direction.New faces with new ideas.I would love the
day when working men that really understand how we live get in
there.
