I just received notice this morning that my NEW to Me gun will
       be here on Tuesday, Yippee!
I ran across this gun a few weeks ago on GB. I asked the sell a
few questions, he responded quickly. Then I called MoM and asked
few more questions. And then I had to sit and wait for 12 days ,
because the seller had just relisted the gun! Of course I was
sweating bullet's that someone else would realize that this gun
was like NO other CF-380, on the auction! That's what happens
when you are a collector of anything, You make a find & then you
have to take possession of it!

I picked up my gun today!,
I was asked on the FB Café, what was the difference with this
alloy frame & what was it made of?
The term alloy means it has a metal frame as apposed to the
current polymer frame. The metal is called Zamak, or more
commonly called a glorified "pot metal" not uncommon is many
inexpensive guns. The alloy frame model weighs about 33oz, the
polymer frame is about 28oz. The only advantages would only be
the heavier the gun the less the recoil. My excitement is up
until 2 weeks ago, I had only known the CF-380 to have been made
in the polymer frame. But when I found this gun on GB, I thought
that maybe someone had just put a 380 barrel on a 9mm alloy
frame. But after several conversations with the seller & a call
to the factory, It was confirmed that HP did indeed make a very
limited number of these in the beginning runs of the CF-380
models. I was told there were less than 1000, more like 800 of
them built, before converting over to the polymer frames. And
these models all had the letter "W" at the end of their serial
numbers. This model would mean NOTHING to anybody other than a
collector? And since there aren't very many people collecting Hi
Points, I guess I am the ONLY one excited! lol Just another
       feather in my collection?

No I'm missing the 380 pistol. I'm having no luck with the
Carbine. I had some great feedback about the Carbine in the
rifle range thread, but unfortunately being a noob I don't
       understand any of it lol
