       Herricks Art Showcase at Barnes and Nobel

       Herricks continuously proves to display academic achievement,
       but are you aware of how successful the arts program here at
       Herricks is every year? Artwork from Herricks stuents will be
       proudly displayed at the local Barnes & Noble Book Store located
       in Manhasset from December 7th through 11th. The showcase is a
       strong representation of the best artworks from all different
       art related classes. Each teacher is excitedly awaiting the
       chance to display their students wonderful artwork that clearly
       showcases the students hard work and effort. Mr. Ganes told his
       period three class a few weeks ago that he is privileged to once
       again be granted such a talented and dedicated class, and that
       the classes artwork will be strongly represented at this years
       Barnes and Noble Store showing.
       Another terrific reason as to why I encourage you to stop by,
       especially on December 8th, to The Barnes & Noble Book Store is
       to support the Herricks Art Boosters seasonal gift wrapping to
       benefit the Herricks community Arts Programs for months to come.
       Plus, it won't hurt anyone to buy a book to read or gift for the
       holiday season.
