Bieber: Teen Sensation Dominates Music Charts (Jasmin Zarrin'15)

Teen heartthrob and pop sensation from Canada, Justin Bieber,
is dominating the charts with his new album Believe Acoustic. He
is the number one followed person on Twitter with the biggest
fan base of all. His new album features eight acoustic versions
of songs from Believe, as well as three new songs named “I
Would”, “Nothing Like Us” and “Yellow Raincoat”. The tone of the
album is very intimate and a great reflection on the talents
that Justin has. Justin once said, “I was found, I wasn’t made.”
This album truly depicted his vocal abilities and the reasons
why he is so successful. He shows off his voice with his
touching lyrics accompanied by him playing either the piano or
guitar. As his manager Scooter Braun said on twitter, “And on
another note…. @justinbieber’s #BELIEVEacoustic album is #1 in
52 countries and is impressing all the critics! Very proud!!!”
After the release of this album on January 29th, Justin Bieber
was awarded the title of the youngest artist with five number
one albums at the age of 18. This is a huge milestone in music
history. Recently he was the host and musical guest on Saturday
Night Live showing off his acting skills as well as his singing.
He addressed the on-going issue of him getting busted for
smoking marijuana and even poked fun at himself while
apologizing saying that, “He’s really sorry about it and people
make mistakes and he promises he won’t ever do it again.”
Despite all this success, record breaking achievements, and a
sold-out world tour, he failed to even get a single Grammy
nomination this year stirring some frustration among fans. The
night of the Grammy’s he tried holding a live stream on three
different websites while on vacation, all of which crashed
because of overcrowding. Beliebers sure can take over the
internet! After all the frustration, Justin decided to share a
clip of his new song called “You Want Me”. No matter what the
situation with the Grammy’s or rumors in the news, Justin Bieber
is one of the most successful artists in the world right now. If
you haven’t checked out his new album, you should really give it
a try. A more mature sound is built around a new audience as
well as his old fans. If you aren’t a fan at the moment, take a
listen and you might change your mind.
