Installation of 9006 8000k PT Cruiser

       XOOOU79UAP KS-9006-8K X HB4. Installed today after 2 year old
failure of 5000k bulb. This is the second SDX kit for me and
this vehicle.Treated the composites 4 days ago with repel. These
are a lot brighter...approx. 2900 lumens. My honest opinion if I
want to go any brighter with this style it would be a waste of
money. The car is not worth a projector beam enhancement,
although I may consider it at a later date. Waiting for it to
get dark , drive like I robbed something,,,lol....j/k Thanks

After driving, the HID's seem more blue than white to me.
Different kind of sand I guess. Overall satisfaction 85%. The
range of lighting on the pavement is much better than the last
HID's I had. Probably somewhere around fifty feet now. On a dark
country road they are sufficient. They do not appear obtrusive
when behind other cars. I just wanted to get away from the blue
tint, I wanted more white. I wonder if there is such a thing as
worn out/old composite lenses. The reflecting material seem
bright, no H2O or condensation evident. Lenses are not 100%, as
they do have small pits. They did clean up real well with Repel.
As you can see in the photos there is a fair amount of damage to
the lenses from pitting. Maybe a sanding pad will help. Any
       ideas anyone?
