       BMW X6 - Xenon vs LED

       Hi Everyone,
       I am new to the forum but not HID lights - I've had them on a
       number of cars and love them for the safety aspects alone.
       Recently I acquired a BMW X6 which comes standard with Xenon
       lights. The BMW factory Xenon headlights are very nice overall,
       with good throw and light output.
       However, BMW does offer the option of LED headlamps for this
       model. I can find them on the used market for $900/light. With a
       little bit of programming and a wiring harness, they can be
       fitted without any major complications.
       Forgetting cosmetic differences between the two lights, are you
       guys still finding that LEDs cannot throw as far from a distance
       perspective to Xenons? One thing I did like about the LEDs was
       the intensity of the light - to the eye they seem brighter.
       Are there any D1S bulbs you would suggest to give my stock setup
       more intensity for night driving?
