       Is 55w too much for my headlight lens?!

       Just got done fitting my 2000 silverado with mh1 Bixenon
       projectors and I noticed the lens getting extremely hot and
       barely starting to warp the plastic from heat, my question is am
       I using to high of a ballast (55w 6k bulb) or is it because of
       the smoked lens? I really need to know as 80% of my driving is
       during the dark.
