       LED vs HID manufacturer costs

       Anyone have insight into the cost difference for a vehicle
       manufacturer to install HID vs LED headlights?
       I assume the LED ballasts are similar in cost to HID ballasts.
       Pretty sure the chip sets are a good bit cheaper than HID bulbs.
       From the ones I've seen, the LED projector housings/lenses feel
       much cheaper than HID ones, but that might just be what I've
       got.
       Heat sinks on the LEDs are pretty cheap, so I don't think
       they're a big factor.
       Do LED cars usually have auto-leveling systems? I know they
       steer, but I didn't know if leveling was standard. I know on the
       new WRX/STI, the LED headlights do not have manual or
       auto-leveling systems.
       I guess I'm curious if manufacturers are going to LED to save
       some $$ while still giving the appearance of nicer headlights.
