Strange HID Story

So I had a loud ticking coming from behind my driver side
headlight. For the life of me, I couldn't imagine what it could
be. Lights on, lights off, didn't matter. Air conditioning on,
air conditioning off, didn't matter. Car first started, car
fully warmed up, didn't matter. Car on, car OFF, didn't matter!
I would literally shut the car off at 11AM and it could still be
ticking sometimes at 9PM. Then other times it wouldn't tick AT
ALL! I was 100% convinced it WAS NOT the HIDs. Why? Because they
weren't even hooked up to a trigger. The harness was still in
the car hooked up to + and - but they weren't connected to the
car lights(remember, lights on, lights off, didn't matter). Well
I took off the front bumper to investigate. Sure as shit...the
ballast on the driver side was igniting. There was water inside
the cube relays and it was enough of a bridge(sometimes) for the
ballast to activate. Only the driver side would though. NEVER
the passenger side. Mother...****ing...rediculous. It's over now
though. Disconnected the positive until I finish the retro(yeah
right...). Ticking be gone.

There are enough people to answer me or not.
