       hid bulb grounds

       i have 8k hid kit installed in my pontiac g8 gt. i recently
       order new 6k bulbs but they have grounds on them. the 8k dont
       have them on the bulb wiring. the grounds are positioned on the
       bulb side of the grommet. if installed the grounds will be in
       the bulb housing. i was wondering if the 6k's can still be used
       if so do i need to connect the grounds to anything or if i can
       just cut them short?
