Best way to get 5* cards?

I am fairly new to the game and have no idea what the best way
to get 5* cards is? So far the only way I have got a 5* card is
the event area, if anyone can help that would be good.

Using special normal machine, special machine and special+
machine do yield 5* cards....but chances are low for normal
machine. Special machine usually give 4* when charged and
special+ will give 5* when charged. Friend tokne can only give
2* and 3* cards...
Other than the free method that i mention, the other machine
will cost hero coins...
Or you can save hero coins from daily login and use when a
specific race machine is around.
Try to build up 1 race of cards...it will be more effective in
my view...

If you don't spend money... Event Areas are the best place. They
are typically really good cards... although we haven't had one
in a few weeks (I was expecting one this week - instead they are
asking you to buy more).

I think the best economical way of getting a higher chance of 5*
cards is using the special card machine when it's charged. You
can collect the coins in the exp egg day area and also from
events. I got three 5* cards from a charged special card machine
and all are rear guard cards (not that I'm complaining), but I'm
wishing for a strong attack card to complete my deck.
I got all healers from each race: Executioner, Red Phoenix and
Raymond Sun-King
