For the paying customer (maximizing your money) and the non-payi

This is a fun game to play and you really don't need to spend
any money in it. You get lots of resources early on by
completing the storyline.
It is very easy to get a good deck:
1) The Storyline giant cards are a great start.
2) The AP / Zone Events gave me my strongest 5* cards.
3) The daily area (egg hunting) leveled up my cards
4) The daily area (egg hunting) gives a Special Token every time
you complete the zone. Every 10 Special Tokens will give (at
worst) nine 3-star and one 4-star card.
5) The daily area has race-specific zones that you can complete
to gain 4-5 decent cards for your deck plus tons of cards to
level their skills.
You should never have to spend money on cards.
Especially experience eggs. This is by far the worst way to
spend your money. 50c for one egg?! For 100c (or so) you can buy
a restore potion and run through the daily area (egg hunting)
for a dozen experience eggs AND a special token!
Don't use the Premium Card Machine either. It's completely
random and never on sale... if you MUST buy cards, there are
better options.
If you absolutely MUST have the newest released card (you know,
the one with 3x the rate), be prepared to spend $100 or more to
get it (and get lots of junk along the way). That 5* card you
want has a rate of 0.1% which is bumped up to 0.3% for the
special deal. Ok, I just pulled those numbers from nowhere, but
you get the point. That $100 would be MUCH better spent
elsewhere (if at all).
If you have a hole in your deck (Front Guard or Rear Guard),
those machines are a decent option, however they are not race
specific... and the race specific card machines are not
Front/Rear Guard specific. But, if you must buy cards, these are
your best bet.
Where should you spend your money? You don't have to spend
money.
I showed you how to build your deck... but at some point, you
will run out of resources and get bored or impatient. It does
not hurt to buy restore potions when they are on sale. AP
potions are rarely available and BP potions are almost as
expensive as restore potions, so restore potions are your best
value.
I showed you how to build your deck... and now you have too many
cards? You can buy more slots for your card bank. It's expensive
so don't go crazy, but a few extra slots help when you are
overloaded with experience eggs while you blast through the
daily area (egg hunting).
I showed you how to build your deck... but there is a problem
acquiring your strongest cards. The AP / Zone events require you
to complete a series of treasure and people can keep stealing
your loot! Having a series trap or two can make sure you keep
what's yours until your AP/BP restores. OR have a fully-leveled
defense deck to protect your stuff (place your best card as the
ACE to deter people from attacking you).
In conclusion... you do not need to pay money to enjoy the game.
You do not need to spend money to win events/tournaments. But if
you do have the means, now you know where you can focus your
spending to maximize your money.
