       Extra-Credit Assignment

       For those who need to raise their grade (or just want to read a
       great story!) here is an extra-credit assignment. It is due
       March 28 (the Monday after Spring Break). It will count as 2
       test grades. Here are the steps:

       Finally, write an essay on the message of this story. The exact
       essay question you will be answering is: Do you agree that we
       should leave all creative energies uninhibited? Why or why not?
